UCSB CUEL Logo Design for Environmental Leadership

Logo and Award Design

The goal of this project was to design a new logo for the UCSB Greti U. Croft Center for Undergraduate Environmental Leadership (CUEL). The logo needed to align with the university's brand guidelines while also fitting cohesively with the existing ELI logo in the student organization within the environmental studies department. Additionally, the design had to reflect the unique regional identity of the university's location. If you look closely, you can find the iconic Santa Barbara channel islands outlined in white in the tree.

Through a collaborative process with the client and attention to detail, the final logo design captured the essence of CUEL's mission while paying homage to the unique geography and natural surroundings of UC Santa Barbara. The new logo now serves as a unifying symbol for the organization, representing its commitment to environmental leadership and education.
