Spring is the Season of Strategic Change

As the earth thaws and new life emerges, I find myself deeply attuned to the theme of transition. This past winter marked a significant shift for me, as I proudly handed off my volunteer role with the Lompoc Valley Art Association to a new, talented board. Creating and maintaining their website since 2019 has been a fulfilling chapter, and I wish the new team immense success.

This moment of passage—where we complete one role to step fully into another—is a powerful reminder that change is not loss, but the deepest form of creative leverage. We all carry the experience of our past work into the next, more complex version of ourselves.

And with that transition, it’s time to introduce the full, evolved version of my practice.

Alchemy Project: A Friction & Form Process

For years, I've worked to deliver high-end, world-class design and digital assets. I focused on the form. But through my advanced work, I’ve realized that the most beautiful website in the world can't fix a founder whose internal map is misaligned. The gap between who you are and what your brand expresses is the source of all failure to launch.

I am thrilled to announce the evolution of my consulting practice into Friction & Form. This isn't just a name; it's a service that integrates my decade of design expertise with my Master’s in Depth Psychology and Humanities.

I am now offering Visual Identity for the Psychologically Complex. Our Philosophy: Your Friction is Your Fuel

My core belief is that your intense, often “difficult” personality is your single greatest market advantage—you just need the right framework to channel it. We move beyond superficial design trends to build a brand that is psychologically resonant and can handle the full weight of your ambition.

A Note on Community & Accessibility

My commitment to supporting creative growth is unwavering. I continue to offer free sessions on Mondays for those who need it. You can also find me at our monthly in-person group events, including the Santa Barbara First Thursday Art Crawl Meetup and the Women Soar Higher Networking Hour.
