December Update: Exciting Times Ahead in the World of Digital Creativity

As we wrap up another year of innovation and artistic exploration, I'm thrilled to share some exciting updates and plans for the coming months. From business strategies to creative projects, there's a lot on the horizon that I can't wait to dive into.

Preparing for a Stellar 2025

This month, I'm dedicating time to revisit and update my business plan. It's a crucial step in ensuring that we're well-positioned for success in the new year. Along with this strategic planning, I'm conducting a thorough inventory review in preparation for the upcoming tax season. While it might not be the most glamorous part of running a creative business, it's essential for maintaining a solid foundation.

Cypress Gallery Feature: A Decade of Digital Creativity

I'm incredibly excited to announce my upcoming featured artist show at the Cypress Gallery in April 2025. This exhibit will be a retrospective of the digital tools that have shaped my creative work over the past decade. But we're not just looking back - the show will also imagine what tools and processes might be available in the next ten years. It's a unique opportunity to reflect on how far we've come and dream about where we're heading in the digital art world.

Connecting with the Community

Community has always been at the heart of my creative process, and I'm looking forward to several opportunities to connect:

  • Our monthly Discord call for voice coworking is scheduled for the first Monday in January.

  • I'll be hosting a one-hour Google Hangout on December 16th.

  • For those in Santa Barbara, don't forget about our First Thursday art meetup.

These events are perfect for collaboration, idea-sharing, and simply enjoying the company of fellow creatives.

New Projects on the Horizon

I'm also thrilled to be working on some fascinating new client projects. These include designing an anthropology book for publication, developing a new website, and creating LinkedIn content for a consultant. Each of these projects brings its own unique challenges and opportunities for creative problem-solving. As we move into this busy and exciting period, I'm reminded of how fortunate I am to work in a field that constantly evolves and inspires.

Whether you're a fellow artist, a client, or simply someone interested in the intersection of technology and creativity, I invite you to join me on this journey. Here's to a month of innovation, creativity, and growth! What are your creative plans for the month ahead? I'd love to hear about them. Please send me an email!
